Our student from the Practical School Helmond

Daimion is our first student from Praktijkschool Helmond. He is doing an apprenticeship at BS&i Manufacturing for 2 days a week. On Thursday and Friday. His mentor Paul Verhees of the Praktijkschool Helmond made a tour along several training companies and made a report. Below is our part of that report. The full report can be read on the site of the Praktijkschool Helmond. Follow this link.

BS&I Manufacturing
It’s nice and quiet at the still young company BS&I Manufacturing. Silence before the storm, ambitious entrepreneur René Vetjens knows. “A few more guys are coming in soon. We’re still in the early stages of our business anyway; I hope we’ll grow out of our size soon.” Working at a long table is Daimion, 17. Three days a week he attends Practical School, on Thursdays and Fridays he works assembling mechatronic devices for the supply industry. It is only his second day of work. “I really like the work. Of course it takes some getting used to, but I like doing this work. Soldering, assembling, having fun with technology.” René looks on with satisfaction. “I am very satisfied. Give me more students like this, he does the job on his slippers. One explanation and he already has it down pat. I’m really pleasantly surprised.”
