At BS\&i Mechatronics, we combine decades of experience with broad technical expertise to assemble your mechatronic devices and modules. Whether it involves single pieces, small or medium series, we offer customized solutions with maximum focus on quality, reliability, and reproducibility. Our flexible approach enables our customers to respond effectively to their clients, thus contributing to the achievement of their goals.
Our expertise in assembly
BS&i Mechatronics boasts decades of experience in the manufacturing industry in a wide variety of technical disciplines. And this for a diversity of markets such as medical, paramedical, food, automotive, defense, heavy vehicles, measurement and analysis equipment. Where engineering is the common element in that diversity of markets. As a result, we have learned to understand the application of a device in that market. As a result, we realize better than anyone else that assembling a mechatronic device requires more than just putting parts together. It requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with the functionality of that device and the various manufacturing technologies of the parts and materials used, including:
- Mechanical components: Plastic, metal parts and trade items.
- Electrical engineering: connectors, actuators, wiring and more.
- Electronics: PCBs.
- Sensors and optics: Installation of temperature and pressure sensors, optical modules and lenses.
- Software and ICT: Flashing, software updates and integration of client applications.
- Hydraulics and pneumatics: Construction of circuits and systems.
To meet your requirements and wishes, we design the assembly process completely to your specifications. Thereby, our technical knowledge is essential to make the right translation from the device to the right assembly method. As a result of our experience, we apply methods that minimize risks. This greatly reduces the probability of error and greatly increases the reproducibility and reliability of assembly processes. Moreover, you can expect us to provide you with product- and technique-related information that positively influences the results of the assembly process. This is supported by a balanced logistics process in which great value is placed on uniqueness of articles and traceability of information. Whether you want to supply your own assembly method or let us optimize the processes, we always deliver a reproducible and predictable result.
Your guarantee of results
To ensure maximum and reproducible compliance with set specifications, we set up a dedicated process for each device to be built. In addition, each device undergoes coordinated checks and tests with our customer. Process control is the key concept here. Features of the assembly process are:
- Dedicated assembly instruction: This instruction includes all assembly steps, instructions for settings and risk points, and supporting information, accompanied by graphics.
- Dedicated clean workplace: Although not a clean room, we believe that every piece of equipment should be assembled in a clean environment.
- Proper Tools: It seems like an open door, but in order to assemble responsibly and efficiently we make sure we have the proper tools. This by purchasing the tools or making them in our model shop.
- Craftsmanship: Our employees have the required craftsmanship and are properly trained to perform the required assembly techniques at a high level of quality. In doing so, great attention is paid to quality.
- Checks and tests: In consultation with the customer, we determine which checks and tests are necessary to deliver a quality device. These can be visual and functional checks. But also duration tests and safety tests such as high voltage tests and earth leakage tests.
In addition, our customer has maximum insight into our work preparation and associated documents for the assembly of the device in question.
