A new milestone in wiring harnesses

Today we are proud to announce that we have reached a new milestone: we now build wire harnesses with a wire length of more than 10 meters.

Several years ago, we at BS&i Mechatronics received a request from a customer to assemble wire harnesses. Although we were already familiar with the technology, this gave us the opportunity to apply this knowledge in practice. Our first wiring harness had a length of about 6 meters. Gradually, the wiring harnesses became larger and more complex.

Expanding Our Capacities

To assemble these longer wire harnesses, we have invested in new production facilities including a wireboard with dimensions of about 6 by 3 meters. This allows us to manage the complexity and size of this category of wire harnesses and ensure our quality.

Applications and Benefits

This expansion in capacity opens up new possibilities for applications requiring longer wire harnesses, such as:

• Industrial Machinery: Connections over longer distances at the larger production machines.
• Transportation sector: Complex wiring for vehicles and infrastructure.
• Power generation: wire harnesses for large plants and systems.
• Military vehicles: Cabling for tanks, armored vehicles and radar systems.
